Have the 1955 to date proof sets & working backwards (duh), my question is - how to store the original sets from '54 and back without having to keep them in the original cellophane/glassine
packs as offered by the mint? I see way too much toning from these coins due to the deterioration of their plastics . . . any helpful suggestions? I know of the capital holders, the clear plastic kind, and also individual 2x2's (most likely not) - but what might have I missed, or work best? Much appreciated . . . .

Get some Zip Lock Plastic Bags and put each one in separate one. Push out as much air as possible and then seal.
Keeps sandwiches fresh for a long time so should work on coins.
