I purchased rolls of 125th. quarters in 1992 to make sets as Christmas gifts. This came out of the NWT roll. It is uncirculated. The scratches are on the protective plastic, not the coin.

Very, very cool. Cracked planchets are not common!

-cnr- That's one heck of a opener. Was that the only one in your roll? ---That's a major crack if it were more you would have two 1/8's! ---Have you posted in our welcome page? Go Canucks!

I'm glad you Guys like it. I regret that it's the only thing in my collection worth sharing. The rest is pretty standard. The rest of the roll had no issues, and none were found in the other provinces. I have 8 unopened rolls left for each province and territory, but all the edges appear to be good. Here's a couple scans showing more detail. You can see on the front that the crack travels at least to the center of the coin, maybe a little more.

-cnr- Nice scan the cut goes deep. ---We don't all have great collections as some may boast about what they have and there quantities, that can make some of us to feel less significant or relevant with our collections. I know! and wish it would stop. ---Keep in mind that we are all great collectors as you are and that what is to one is not always the same to the other so no shame or (regrets). ---To share is great and one never knows!

cnr, would that be a coin that you might be interested in trading or selling? I just had to ask... I drool every time I look at it...

-SPP-Ottawa- & -cnr- I know the temptation is great but I would hate to loose you to having broken site rules, about buy/sell/trade.
