Uh, unless you consider long, graffiti-like scratches to be problematic.

Also, claims "Low Cost Shipping" at $2.95 for a Barber dime.
I bet he puts it in a plain white envelope with a first class stamp.

Another auction:

This is a 1876-CC Seated Liberty dime that has VF detail. This coin has full rims, mint mark and date. The mint mark is visible in person. This coin is banged up.

Fantastic! I can see the mint mark on my VF coin "in person".

On another thread recently, someone said that it was "ok" to overgrade coins you have for sale, as long as you say it was "your opinion".

I strongly disagree. It might not be illegal. I might not be fraud. But it is never ok to call this coin VF.
Rest in Peace

Seth, I agree 1000%. It is never OK to overgrade a coin in order to sell it. I'm not sure this doesn't constitute fraud, but it's certainly less than ethical and will certainly lead to negative feedback if the coin is bought by a knowledgeable person.

A banged up VF coin. Wonder what grading standard he uses? SGS, NGS, CCGS, ANI or any of a hundred other alphabets?
Rest in Peace

It is wrong to imply a higher grade as was clearly done on this coin. The auction ended at $3.25. The public has spoken!!! Mike

It is easy to see how both of these sellers have maintained their stellar 99.6% feedback rating!

It's obvious that the first seller doesn't understand the definition of the word "problem"...

That first coin looks like it has an X through both the front and back. I remember a thread I saw yesterday saying that people (dealers?) would mark coins like this to show they were worthless so people wouldn't waste their time or money on them. At least I think that's what it said.
