Hey guys (gals), I just got me a Ryedale and I'm swamped with zinc rejects. I was wondering if anyone is interested in these at a small premium + shipping. It took me over 2 weeks to go through a total of $200 face of cents ran through the machine. I really don't have time for errors and varieties right now. These rejects got dumped back to the bank today. I've found my share of wams and other cool stuff in my prior searches. Even 2 99 wams and a bunch of 98's and 00's have been found by me.
If anyone is interested just drop me an email. Time is the only issue.

Okay...I'm sure a lot of people are going to wonder, so I'll stick my neck out and ask...
1. What's a Ryedale?
2. Why would anyone want reject coins at above face value?
What am I missing here?

1.) A Ryedale is one of the electronic copper/zinc sorter machines out there on the market for around $500. It simply kicks copper cents into one bin and everything else into and other.
2.)I was wondering that myself too. I guess for someone who wants to specifically search >= 1982 Lincoln cents errors/varieties this would be good, but I like the old stuff too.

Maybe someone wants to:
1.) Build a life-sized Lincoln statue with them. 2.) Apply lots of human finger oil, water, oxygen, some salt water, meatloaf and a little heat to it. 3.) Watch zombie Zincoln Lincoln come to life! 4.) ? 5.) Profit!
Clarification: Not making fun of the OP, I just think the above would be very awesome.

I believe the OP is asking if anyone wants the zinc cents that the coin sorts. It sounds like the OP is keeping the copper cents and wants to know if anyone would like to purchase the zinc cents to search for varieties/errors as they do not have the time to search them instead of dumping them back at the bank. Only problem I can see is that I can get all the zinc cents I want from the bank at face value without having to pay for shipping. I live in Canada in a border town and I get aprox 300 US cents in each box of Canadian cents I search. Maybe someone who lives in Canada would be interested in the deal. Shipping is much cheaper from the US and it may be worth it for some to get their hands on a large quantity of US cents.

Okay, well...I thought I was missing something. I think I'll pass on buying pocket change at above face value. My banks have plenty.

If we were closer, I'd be more than happy to take them off your hands,I love searching the new stuff, but as coppercoins pointed out, my bank has plenty...picked up $200 in bags today...so a premium wouldn't work for most of us.

I'm confused some. It took 2 weeks for a machine to sort out $200.00 ? Then the rejects were brought back to the bank ? What is left ? Good zinc coins or copper coins ? How were the rejects defined as rejects ? Where there any wheat cents ?

Took me 2 weeks to go through the zinc rejects looking for wams and cams an DDR's and DDO's and everything inbewteen. I did take these back. But then I grabbed another $100! I'm keeping the copper, wheats, and copper canadians. With the Ryedale, I have it set to modern copper. So, anything that doesn't match the copper electronic signature is a "reject". These rejects will include all modern zinc pennies, foreign coins, dimes,IH's, and wheats older than 1942. This last $100 got me 127 wheats. In there were 26 pre-1940 wheats. A 1909,1913, and a 1924 were the better ones. A 1926D was found, too! My secodn 26D ever!
