I won a raw VAM-81 on ebay and it was listed as DMPL ( VAM not listed but listed as their opinion MS-63DMPL condition)) and I received it today and even have a slim chance at MS-63PL I do not think it has any chance at DMPL comparing it to my other ones. Here is the listing http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...42428978&ru=http://shop.ebay.com:80/%3F_from=R40&_trksid=m570&_nkw=300542428978&_fvi=1&si=lUluYbXnhBnI9PMeal3WPWJQgUo%253D&viewitem= . Here is the pictures I took of it in the 2x2 cardboard holder

Have-A-Question

Have-A-Question

The reason I started this thread is, I have never sent anything back that I have bought off of ebay and was wondering if I am just being to picky because money is a little tighter than usual this month because I have let people borrow some money and they were supposed to pay me back and haven't yet or would you send it back because of what I have said above. It is a VAM-81 and I knew this when I bid on it and even though I do not really need another VAM-81 it has no bearing in my decision on whether to keep it or send it back, its the fact I don't think it has a chance at all at DMPL like it was listed as. I want to add it has not6hing to really do with the money either because some of it was paid with ebay bucks so I actually paid out of pocket around 60 bucks for the coin. So what would you do if you were in my shoes?

If it is not as described, definitely send it back.

Matters not if paid with ebay bucks, they are still are real money.

I agree with Billie. It's kind of amazing how many people try to claim their Morgans are PL or DMPL on ebay just because they have luster.

I contacted the seller and they were very pleasant to speak to and I have sent the coin back to them. Thanks for the advice and I know it should be common knowledge but this is the first thing I have ever sent back since I have been buying on ebay and I have been doing that since 1996 with well over 1000 transactions
