GSA coa # 85031664 if anyone keeps track of that sorta thing. I was able afford this coin because of the chin scratches so dont feel bad for me :)

Looks like "bag rash" and oxidation. I'd say a solid MS-63. Gotta remember that these coins were in bags for decades.
Rest in Peace

My guess is MS-62 because of the chatter. Still, very nice coin and a super low mintage date!

Ok I'm going to go with the MS-62 estimate to be on the safe side because of the chin and bottom rim dings.
I just want to put an approximate grade on my inventory spreadsheet. Thanks :)

I would say MS-63 for this coin. I'd like to give him a 64 due to the fantastic mint frost and reverse but the chin is a bit too rashy

OK maybe MS-63 is the consensus?

Im going to post up a beautiful 1883 which I think might be MS-64 or 65 for comparison.

Yeah 63 is generally an otherwise gorgeous Morgan (nice luster, mint frost, etc...) that has a few nasty hits on the face or in the fields. 60 - 62 are usually some UGLY coins!
