I was at the coin shop today chatting up the dealer and trading a roll of 2010d shield cents for a few cups of coffee when the UPS man stops in with 2 boxes of 2012 Red Books. I scored me a copy of the large print edition. Being that he is a good friend of mine, he let me get it for $22 . I think it was the roll of shield cents that got me discount.

For once I was smart and preordered with Whitman books and got it last week.

Now, I have to update all my spreadsheets with current values...

If you guys are old like me (and a few others on here) the large print edition is Da Bomb! I can read it with only my glasses, no geed for them and a 6" 5X magnifier.

I'm gonna buy the ring type, cause you can set the book down flat without bending the spine.

I get mine at coin shows. For some reason that is the cheapest place for me to get those. I usually get one hard cover one for my Red Book collection, never opened, just sits on a bookcase shelf laughing at me for wasting money. Then one ringed version for upstairs and one for downstairs in my house since to lazy to run up and down to look something up. Then it's the many ringed versions for Christmas presents. Would be kind of nice to get one large print and one leather bound for my collection. Whitman sure makes money on us all with just that one book.

That's funny I do the same thing. I"ll keep the outdated edition in a different part of the house.
