I've heard there are collectors who buy and collect quarters where the ponytail is separated from George's neck. How collectible are these? Do they have a premium? Are they rare?

The line at the bottom of the hair is very small and very thin, and can easily be polished away. Regardless of whether they are on ebay, I wouldn't pay a premium for them, and I doubt any experienced variety or error collector would either.
