1851 indian head ONE DOLLAR

What country is this coin from?
The Silver USA 1851 dollar is a sitting Liberty dollar and
The Gold USA 1851 dollar is a Liberty head

You may have a fake USA coin or one from another country?

Cheers
Rest in Peace

To expand on that the tutorial (for posting pictures) explains it very well. But make sure you don't jump ahead. I think I said, "OK, I got it" about 4 times before I finally learned to read the whole thing.

Also, is it plain, C, D or O mint marked? In order of mintage the D is the rarest at 9,882 minted followed by, C at 41,267, O at 290,000 and Plain, the most common at over 3 million.

As you can see from the price guide below the ranges are $135 to $37,500

Hope this helps
