Does this coin look way *too* good to anyone else?

Based on previous items sold and feedback, I would say that the coin is probably as represented by the seller. The biggest problem I noticed is the fact that shipping is listed at $7.95 (too high) under shipping costs but in the description, it is listed at $14.95 (way too high)

That is a nice looking coin. Very sharp details. He doesn't offer a grade for it, so it's up to the buyer to figure out what they think it is and what to bid on it. I looked on Heritage Auctions to compare this to some of their coins, and it looks like it would be in the range of AU53 to AU55. The wear around the inside of the coin edge looks greater than the Heritage coins I looked at. Other parts are better than the Heritage coins, so it's kind of a wash.

But, the PCGS guide shows an EF coin at $100 and a 55 is at $250. His Buy It Now price is $275. Not such a deal, but maybe if you got it for less. The starting bid is $175, which doesn't sound that great either. There is some wear on this coin, so I don't know that it's worth the buy it now price. That is my opinion (which means nothing, of course. )

I agree that the shipping is exorbitant! I don't think I would buy from this seller just because of that. That's an additional 5% more on the sales price for shipping.

Yeah his shipping is high and the price isn't a bargain. Something about the coin struck me weird tho and I couldnt put my finger on it. Probably just paranoid.

Doesn't ebay have an excessive shipping policy? Sounds like this may be a candidate.
