Hello everyone. Well looks like I had success in selling off my ASE collection. Has anybody here ever ship coins to Switzerland? Any restrictions? none seen on the USPS site, is this true? If so what would suggest (methods) on shipping an expensive set of ASE? I know to mark it as a "gift" and "numismatic items" on the customs form. Since this IS expensive items, I would feel real uncomfortable NOT insuring this stuff. It will go USPS Airmail Parcel Post. Suggestions and advice will be greatly appreciated since I have never shipped coins overseas. Thanks in advance for tips-

I bought a few times is Switzerland and Switzerland is known as a place where rich people park their money and then forget to declare it to the tax office .

I received this strange communication from the professional Swisse vendor not to put money in an envelope even insured because mail is now often opened up ; but to put money in a shoe box

Of course not trusting any of the in between handlers I did a complete official banktransfer asking for a fully insured coin
This made me happy because the coin disappeared from Switzerland to Belgium and the insurance paid for it

You may want to look up the small print on USPS insurance to make sure Switzerland and coins are covered
I only know it is forbidden to send food

It says restrictions no list furnished
