My First Coin Show :) - Coin Community Forum

Imohtep Valued Member Canada 321 Posts	Posted 04/10/2011 6:00 pm So today I attended my first coin show. CCF member and fellow 'pegger ikandiggit pointed it out to me so I thought I'd check 'er out. Met a few interesting people that many of you probably know such as Dave and Berry ( or as you know him ikandiggit ). I would like to thank dave for the pennies :) filled in a nice gap in my collection 1936 1935 1934 1933 1932 1929 1928 1921 1920 all for $1.75!! I couldn't go wrong :) also obtained a nice Winnipeg Centennial dollar, expired in the same year it was made and was only good for use in winnipeg but considering this is were I was born and raised I had to have it..and priced at $1 I couldnt go wrong :) spent a grand total of $2.75 on 10 coins, met some people and showed the baby around ( trying to start him really early ) and all in all I think it was a good time. I went to the two advertised shows I could find in the Winnipeg area, in the spring and in the last year, but always suspected there are shows more often but could never find any info.
