Hey all was looking at new Coin World mag and has article about Half Dime with dot below date and got me curious about my 1927 merc with a dot before the 1 it's centered right in middle of date. Curious what causes these? Any extra value? I know need pic but cant right this minute will try to tonight. Thanks!

Could be a bunch of things including PMD, die break or chip etc.

Can't get good zoomed in pic gets too fuzzy. Maybe I can scan it or any other ideas good way to take pic
