My mom has been rolling her pennies lately and ran across one that is a 1974S. I doubt it's worth much, but I told her I'd ask. Any ideas? Circulated and in ok shape, a few marks on it and kind of dirty. It's more or less been in a giant jar of pennies for years.

to CCF. It's worth about Two Cents. Most collectors would keep S mint cents found in change or roll searching.

The " Two Cents" that John mentioned, is just for the "Copper value".....as this year and mintmark are still quite common and can be found in "the wild" quite easily still.
