Australian Coin Designer With Initials Rv

On a few Australian coins there are "RV" initials on the reverse.

For example: Australian-Coin-Designer-With-Initials-Rv

There are RV characters visible on the stone. I tried to find out who is hidden behind these letters, but with no real success; I only got to know that one of the RV marked coins (not that one above) is attributed to Justin Graham. (Why RV then?)

Could anyone solve this puzzle?
