tjtobin3 New Member United States 5 Posts	Posted 04/16/2011 08:20 am I am a new member and was trying to find out something on a coin I recently bought. The 13 stars on the above coin are not the same design. Some look like an asterisk and some look like other stars on other coins. Is this the way there were minted? You can see significant detail in some stars and others are flat and non-detailed. This is normal for the Seated Liberty half dollars.
