Seems like a great deal especially the two folders of cents 1909-1940, just be careful if its too good to be true it usually is, and these coin dealers usually try and take advatage but its really up to you, honeslty I would do it, good luck

yeah it's not a coin dealer though. just a regualar guy. might just need extra cash or he may not know how much they are all worth. or maybe he just inherited them and wants to sell them. anyways I'm going to try to check them out when he gets off work. I want to see the coins in person. i mean there are 8 large cents, and many other wheats. seems like a steal if they are legit... and even more if I offer like $65 or $70.

Really sounds a bit to good to be true yet strange things happen. With todays coin market the way it is thar price appears to be suspiciously low. But then if someone just is in a hurry to get rid of something, well you never really know.

lol, I don't know why I said that he was older :) no offense. but yeah I bought them. paid $75. wasn't as great of a deal as I thought but there is still a little profit to be made. I didn't really like the large cents so I just sold them on ebay already for $45. I'm going to keep a lot of the wheat cents and sell the rest on ebay. I will be able to break even and still keep a bunch of old wheats.

I know a guy who bought an 09-40 folder last fall for $8 and it was only missing 14 of the coins......if you keep your eyes open occasionally deals still pop up.
