I've been looking through some sites and found out that these are probably all fakes. But there was one thing I noted; Everyone's were very thick!

This coin I found in a box my grandmother gave me and belonged to my grandfather's brother, who obviously collected coins. I am not sute if he ever visited America, but at least he had this coin in his collection.

The size it about the same as a modern quatre and about the same thickness as the dime. It also has a circle around the whole tree.
The edge is all smooth and from what I can see there is no seam. (I tried to take a picture of the edge, but since it's long passed midnight the light is to bad to take a good picture).

I have always been very suspicious about this coin, and now I wanna know for sure. Obviously the US Mint didn't start until 1793, so I s'pose it's a fake (but I hope not, lol!)

That is super interesting. I have no idea, but am super curious to hear more about this, by many of the people "in the know" in this forum. Thanks for sharing.

Curious that it has no denomination.

Yeah maybe, but the word "copy" appears nowhere on the coin, so how will I know for sure if it's a replica or not?

Thanks!

Looking in the Red Book and various websites I have come up with this.

These are copies ranging from the 1800 to recent. They were never circulated but a few were produced as patterns/examples. Early replicas can go for around $50 or so.

I am not saying I am right or wrong. That is just my thoughts after doing a few minutes of googling. Anybody else find any info? I just googled "New Hampshire HalfPenny"

Is there any way to find out when it's made? I found it in the same box as coins from early 1920's all the way back to 1723. The most "modern" coins in the same collection were from the mid 30's.

Thanks!

We need a Colonial section. dumprat hit the nail on the head. It's a replica of this famed pattern. Yours looks to be an early one as "copy" is missing. Here is some more info:
