StJoeBlues Pillar of the Community United States 573 Posts	Posted 04/17/2011 5:33 pm biggfredd - you reminded me of a fishing trip I took to Michigan's Upper Peninsula, copper country. We were trout fishing in small streams running through paper company land. The streams were lined with chunks of copper ore. Here's one I brought home that weighs about 8 lbs. It also has quartz and iron pyrite in it. Oops, I should have put something next to it for perspective. It's about 10" from end to end. I use it for a door stop. Report this Post to the Staff
