Believe it or not this was in a roll of nickels from the bank. This is my best key/semi key so I am curious about what grade it might be. Grade away and I appreciate all your responses.

Nice roll find! I'd say AU-58, but I'm no expert.

Nice looks mint state to me not an expert on Jefferson nickels by I'd say at least MS-63 possibly a 64

That is too much of a coincidence. Last month I found a 38-S in a roll that looks almost EXACTLY as nice as yours! Wierd. It is sitting on my desk in a 2x2 right now. I don't know where your from, but I'm from WA.

That's in great shape considering the date and that it was a roll find. Someone definitely cashed in a collection or part of it. I'd say around MS62. Great find!

Looks ms64 with lil dings that may hold from 65 ! Beautiful coin !

Excellent find.

I'm going with MS64 .... the bag hits on the obverse portrait hold it back a bit IMHO from MS65.

As it happens, I found a 1938P in a bank roll in almost as good condition.
