looks genuine from what I can see. The color on the reverse looks a bit odd but I would not be too worried. There are not too many fakes of common date Walkers floating around.
There's not much incentive to try to make a fake walking liberty in circulated condition and a common date (especially prior to silver taking off like this). And yeah, a scale is a good buy. It's always nice for the little extra reassurance that coins are legit.
