Hi!
It's been a while since my last post.
I found this 1972 LMC and I think it might be DO 003 or 08, what do you guys think?
I know the pictures aren't great and it'll probably be difficult to attribute correctly. Part of the purpose of this post, though, is just to share with you this find which has me thrilled since it's my first DDO found in the wild!

First:

Congrats on your FIRST DDO! WTG!

Hard to tell without closer pics, but based on your pics, it looks like the 003. There seems to be die scratches by the G in God and the 003 has plenty of die scratches on it for identification.

Great Post!

As to your question... Whether it is 03 or 08... Probably from my lack of experience, I am unable to distinguish from the images (in liberty for example) what may be doubled and what may be reflections... and The coppercoins.com site shows a die crack (?) through the hair in one version, but maybe wear would obscure this? (not that your coin is worn)... also coppercoins shows details on the reverse that aid in identification.

so, in short, pooling all of my knowledge... uh... um...
