How about those ads that offer a big bag of unsearched Lincolns, Indian Head, Buffalos, etc.?
If the bags are unsearched, how do they know what's in them?

Ahhhhh! There's the catch!
Unsearched by whom..... the seller, the seller's father, the previous owner(s)? Some ads will state "unsearched by me" but they don't say how many other collectors or dealers have been through those bags or rolls.
"Unsearched Rolls" is another con to watch out for. Some of these sellers have been selling their grandfather's collection for years!
There was one dealer who was purchasing old paper rolls and also bought a coin roller/crimper. His gimmick was unopened rolls. But he was actually making them himself. He'd seed the ends of the rolls with Indian heads and the coins inside were common '40's and '50's. Once in a while he'd put in something like a 1909 S VDB and would get tons of promotion from the feedback.
Unsearched rolls and bags are almost non-existent. Be very careful.
Most of those ads are full of it.

Anyone believing the truth of those ads would probably be interested in a bridge I have for sale.

#1-The last LWC was made in 1958 it was 53 years ago since then the coins has been owned buy dozens , hundreds, thousands, millions of different people ! #2-I have 100 rolls that I didn't search but what about the dozens, hundreds, thousands, millions of previous owners? Nobody in the planet can certify that ! #3 -the 2011 LMC only was released couple of months ago and they all ready are all over the globe mixed with all the other dates what means that they all ready been used by many different people for many different purposes includes roll search (I'm one of these who searched them lol!) so imagine how many times the LWC that was made last time 53 years ago ? #5 -the list could go on to the #999999.... #999999....-there is no such thing as Unsearched rolls PERIOD by Ricardocody lol !

Once not to long ago all I had to do was walk into any bank and ask for a roll of new coins of almost any type and no problem. Today if you ask they tell you they have no idea of what is new and what isn't.

I agree with all the posts above. There are not any unsearched coin rolls out there. Don't let any of those ebay sellers convince you otherwise.
