so where do you think would be my best bet at selling silver? I dont have much for sale but I kinda dont want to give ebay 9% of it. I have 40% $7.10 and 90% $15.70 I'm hoping to sell the silver then put the $ into a nice LWC cause thats where my heart is thanks for any tips

to sell coins on here you need 250 posts, in the mean time consider selling them through Coin Community's consignment area

Although you don't quite meet the minimum at APMEX, give them a call and ask anyway. If you have a coin shop in your area you could give them a try too but expect to get an offer well under melt value. Best bet might be to try and trade it for LWC at a show somewhere.

Good luck, most refiners will pay at best 90%. You're going to pay, an a minimum, 10% anyway.

since your post is so low, you might want to sell on craigslist or at your local coin store and see if they can pay 30+X per fv on your 90%. Don't go lower than that.

Craigslist.

Make sure to meet the buyer in a public place, like a bank lobby for instance. Do not give out your address.

I've sold silver quit a few times on Craigslist and have had good luck by simply following those safety precautions.
