Wow, I saw this new thread had drawn much action and was wondering what the buzz was. Scratch my silver hitting 50 bucks by Wed, lol....

The funny thing is, I thought I was guessing a bit high and optimistic in Hybes silver contest, when I picked silver to be setting at 42 an some change by months end....

This is crazy!

But it looks like since everybody was expecting $50, and would start selling some if it crosses the number. Some people are getting ahead and starting to get out just short of $50. If that's true then we may not see $50 in the morning, and it'll take a few more days.

Have a look at the newly created Kitco moving average charts..... then THINK!

I believe more reasonable (and reasoned) comments will then be posted in the CCF.

Looks like we are getting some stability about $48.50. It will be interesting to see what the trading day brings.

After almost rocketing to $50 in Asia, we have settled around $49. Still way up from last week.

In the last 15 minutes, I have seen silver as low as $48.79 and within minutes it was up to $49.98, and minutes later back down to $49.14. The silver line is as sporadic as a heart monitor to start the week, and 50 an oz. is a real possibility by the time day breaks....

And when silver dipped again, gold past $1518....

I'm wondering if this minute-by-minute interest in the price of silver is any part of a bubble phenomenon. Relax, guys... enjoy the fact that we own something that the government can't trash via over-production of it. It goes up, it goes sideways, it goes down... and so do ALL other investments. Typical behavior, signifying nothing special.

Just remember... a lower price only means that your next buy will be cheaper!

It doesn't matter if you are a bull or a bear. This is fun to participate in. I'm invested in gold too, but this silver is a hoot.
