Can these types of late bronze coins be silvered?

Silver-Plated-Roman-Bronzes

These are the first examples I've seen and have not seen any other examples mentioned on Wildwinds or other sites or books in my research.

The dealer is offering them described as silver plated. When I asked if they were plated in ancient times the answer was yes and they are authentic.

There are several coins of this type, also verbs roma and some other late Roman types being offered as silver plated with a 7 day return.

I know very little about silvered bronzes.

As always your opinions would be appreciated and any places to look
for info on types that may have been silvered (silver plated) as well.

Thanks

There are silver-plated bronze to silver plating, but must be seen.It takes time and knowledge to clean these pieces because the silver plating is very easily removed.Have in the topic, where you can see silver-plated coins and actually separated from sterling silver.https://goccf.com/t/86853.What does it if any should be still on the coins.
