Thought I'd share my latest Colonial acquisition.

Originally intended for use in Canada, the Canadians disliked this coin because it was underweight so, in 1726, a half million of these were shipped back to France only to sit there for another five years until they decided to ship them for use in the French Colonies which included Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama.
