Want to buy a USB microscope but do not want to spend a bundle. There are soooo many on the market for around $50...not sure which one to look at. I want to use it to look for varieties and close up pictures. Just wondering if anyone has used or does use a USB microscope and how they like it. Thank you for any info.

I use a Celestron 44302,if you type 44302 in the search box upper left of page you will find info on it. I paid around $60 and it works o.k. for what it cost. The big issue is the LED lights, you can't control them. I had to cover all but one of them and then use a LED hand held flashlight.

What do you think of this USB microscope? I like the fact that the snap shot button is not actually on the microscope itself but on the cord as well as the adjustment for the led light brightness.
