Question Regarding 50.00 Confederate Note

Sap Moderator Australia 16849 Posts	Posted 04/29/2011 12:31 am First stop whenever you're looking at Confederate notes should always be a bogus notes serial number list. There are several of them around; they all seem to be copying off each other. I believe the crutchwilliams list is the original and oldest. The date on this particular note is beneath the portrait: Feb 17th 1864. Looking up $50 denomination with that date on the list, and this note (number 25452) is not listed. That means it's almost certainly a genuine note. Don't say "infinitely" when you mean "very"; otherwise, you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite. - C. S.
