AU-53 sounds about right looks like it has been dipped

 But then I'm no expert. I'd have to see it in hand. It looks as if the luster is pretty flat. Has it been dipped a lot? Probably worth a hundred to a hundred and a quarter. Good find.

Hi Judging from the wear on the hairline above the head and no breast feathers on back XF-40 details cleaned. I know this because I obtained one recently posted on several sites went to local coin dealer became very educated on morgans. I would just keep it.

Too much wear on the hair, the eagles breast looks flat (lack of detail), then again it may be a weak strike.
Do you mind disclosing the "great price"?

MS62 obverse, AU-50 reverse (eagle's breast feathers worn smooth). Maybe it's a strike issue, but I don't think so...

XF 45 no better than AU50 and I agree I think its been dipped...which will cut its over all value..still....A KEY DATE in which the prices really climb from AU up...
