Hi there

I have acquired, through an inheritance, a 30 Medallion set of Birth of Israel Commemorative Medallions, produced in the 60s by the Lincoln Mint. I believe that they are gold plated over silver but am not sure and most of the original documentation did not come with them. Individual medallions are about 50 mm diameter and feature historical scenes related to Israel.

I cannot find any information on line about either the commemorative set or the Lincoln Mint. Can anyone assist?

Thanks

Oldexpat

You're right - info on the Lincoln Mint itself is spotty, although I found several listings of its products, like here.

Thanks for looking. None of these seem to be actual 'Lincoln Mint' products. Most just Lincoln coins and medals but no notes on the mint itself. It's very unusual for me not to be able to turn up information on the Internet about almost anything.

Thanks anyway
