Down 10% from NY close. That's at least a correction.

Maybe it is some Asian banks that are dumping? Hard to say this early. Will be interesting to see what happens when Europe and USA exchanges open tomorrow morning. They could follow Hong Kong's lead or they could add support to the price, bringing it back up to the $45/oz. area. There seems to be pretty decent price support in the US for $45 silver. Could be a buying opportunity tomorrow.

The price going down may not mean much at your local dealer. They could very well up their premiums on purchases because demand may be strong with this correction.

I'm holding on to my silver with a death grip...lol.

Remember last Sunday night when it went up $5 in a few hours? At the close of that day it was up about $1.

There was a lot of resistance at $50 and this week we may find out how much support there is at $40. My hunch is there will be a lot of support around the $40 mark.

I would love a big fat buying opportunity. The fundamentals haven't changed in two days. Let them sell. Let them sell it to ME.

Don't panic guys! That is the reason you accumulate over time and hold. It doesn't matter what you pay for it as long as you can sell higher later. Cost average acquisition and a reasonable exit strategy. Don't be greedy but don't run scared either. If you try to time market dips and gains you will make yourself crazy. As I said the other day a 20% correction could take us down to $40/oz. That is okay, buy before it goes back up. Those of you new to PM investing, welcome to the white knuckle roller coaster. Enjoy, but don't panic. The fundamentals are still sound.

Looks like it's happening on very low volume. Many of the Asian and European Markets are closed for holiday. Could be a few people manipulating the prices on such a low volume day.

Just went over to Northwest Territorial to check their prices and they are still selling for $51.98 for bullion rounds. Never tried to buy from them on a Sunday night...I'm guessing they must be closed which is why we don't see a change in their pricing.
