Found this snippet about silver's recent dip. Nothing earth shattering, but I thought I would share anyway.

Obama to address the nation @ 10:45 PM on urgent national security matter. Twitter speculating Bin Laden is dead.

I'm kind of loving this little pull back, getting ready to buy a couple 10 oz bars into this slide.

This is excellent news!
(Keeping on-topic, I'm speaking strictly of cheaper silver prices, of course! )

Thanks, GearDaddy, glad that you posted that. I had not heard a peep all day that would support a price pull-back of this magnitude. I figured that either something big had happened that I just hadn't heard about or... someone is playing more games with silver shorts or futures. Would not surprise me a bit if that was the real culprit, though. Could be a bit before this shakes out and we find out the REAL reason for such a strong drop in the silver price. I did note that earlier in the day copper, gold, palladium, and platinum were all up a little. Only silver was down then and that made me real suspicious. I see now that all were down a little at the close. Hmmm...
