It looks like the top right half of the are in Trust looks like it has been struck through, and the left side of the you in Trust looks kinda wavy. The reverse has quite a few die cracks on it (I know that means next to nothing) it also has a die gouge above the D in United and it makes it almost look like a lowercase d. I know its a fancy 5, I was just wondering if it was something more as well.

Possible-Two-Cent-Variety

Do fancy 5's command any type of premium?

Also, does anyone know of a good website that lists die varieties for Two Cent Pieces with pictures? I've tried coppercoins.com, but none of the pictures show up for me.

Okay:
1) looks like post mint damage.
2) the fancy 5's have no premium.

Sorry but I'm offshore and on limited band width.
SO no pictures for me.

Plain Fives are significantly more scarce than fancy Fives.
The D is missing the Serif because the dies used to make the coin is missing it.
There are three types of D on Two Cents Full serif partial serif and no serif. they can be used to match the coin to a specific die set.
there are several repunched date varieties on the Fancy Five some of the diagnostics are die cracks but pretty much all display partial numbering under the current date.
