Anybody ever try to put together a 7070 type set with nothing but errors and varieties? Sounds like a challenging and rewarding undertaking. I'm thinking about it.

My primary focus will be on varieties, but I'm keeping the error door open for a cop out in case a variety is not known or is unapproachable for me. LOL!

What do you think? Biting off more than I can chew?

Ive seen a holed set put together that looked neat in a diffrent way. I think it would be doable as long as your grade standards werent too high, and you didnt touch that gold page lol

7070 is the album number that Dansco has assigned to its United States Type set album.

I've heard of it taking people a lifetime to finish and I want to fill mine with varieties and errors. I've been doing some research and have a nice partial list of my targets. If you guys show any interest in this at all, I'll show you what I'm after.

I would welcome suggestions to some of the series I'm not familiar with, though! In some cases, errors will actually be the target, even if a variety exists for that coin. An example would be a '55 Bugs Bunny Franklin.

And, no, the gold page is not included. I wish!

That would be very nice! Not sure I would be up to that. My 7070 is becoming a very slow process! Have seen holed sets and "lowball" sets. But a variety set would be awesome!
