I found this in a roll and the reverse appears to have a goldish color to it. The obverse has normal color that fades to the goldish color slightly. Is this an improper alloy mix or just unusual toning. The coin is 2.8 grams. THe pictures are of a normal zincoln and the coin which is a goldish color. Any input is appreciated.

Here's the obverse. The coin in question is on the left.

Not too strange it is a more circulated coin. My guess!

I thought the Zincs should weight 2.5 grams..

I have seen pennies toned that way..I don't know what causes it either...

Brass plated due to excessive zinc dissolved in the copper plate bath.

So this is a pre mint condition? Is there any added premium to it?

I have found a few of those myself and was wondering about them. I placed them in a 2x2

So does anyone know if there's any added value to the coin or is it just worth 1 cent and neat eye appeal?
