I would carry the holdered cent in a zipper baggie with some sort of abrasive material; something small enough affect the exposed area. Awe, who am I kidding... pidgeon New Member United States 8 Posts	Posted 05/12/2011 3:54 pm If you check this coin in Breen's encyclopedia, he states that the easiest way to spot a fake is that the right side of lincoln's coat should also be worn off. The die was in such a late state that the lines on the coat are also not visible on all true "plain" 1922's. On this coin I can still see the coat details, so I'd say its just a worn 1922-D.
