I have come across some coins that I thought might be some sort of ration coin. I know they are from my local area but other then that I don't know much about them. If anyone has any information I would be really happy to hear it. Thank you !

Possible-Ration-Coins-?ont really know anything about them. I would be really happy if someone could provide me with more information. Thank you !

What you have are merchant trade tokens. For example the bakery is good for one loaf of bread at that bakery. These were used more commomly from the late1800's up and to the 1950's. Some of these can be valuable depending on the merchant history and rarity of the tokens. You will have to check out your local area history to find any info on these... Nice Find..

I noticed a number of your tokens are from Watsonville. If you live nearby, they might have a historical society that can help you date them, based on the business names.
