I'm taking the opportunity to redeem my five "free" NGC submissions and need your grading advice on this 1810 Classic Head Large Cent. I would love to get an EF out of it. Thoughts? Paleoguy

It might make VF20 but it is not close to EF. It will certainly get a details grade due to the corrosion/porosity issues and the reverse scrapes. Still, it is a better-than-average example of a very tough series.

I agree with biokemist6, feel good if the old girl makes VF at NGC. I think she will.

I also agree, it will never make a problem free holder and will probably come back as VF details. The Classic Head Large Cents was the hardest coin for me to find in AU Problem free condition of any coin in the whole Dansco7070 album
