Noticed this weird coin in the collection I recently received. A penny with two head sides and no maple leaf side. Penny seems slightly thicker than average, however the rim seems solid and smooth,it doesn't look like two pennies were pressed or melted together. Couldn't manage to get a clearer shot of the rim, but it seems uniform all the way around and across.

No, it's a great shot of the rim. It makes it obvious that it is a doctored coin.

I agree a 'doctored 'coin...you can tell by the rim.
