From the land of the Bluenose.....with great haste did dis bouy make way to the post office almost running a red light in the process! The mail! The mail! That meant my new baby had arrived. She looked sum sweet when I unwrapped her at home..........................................!

Navy Davy called and I gut up youz excited at the prospect of trying my new to me Freedom 3 Plus which I had spent $220 on.

Sounded okay. Felt okay. But....and a big un youz she had a trigger and sound problem. Worked through it!

Navy Davy with his Technetics was digging up a storm finding a slew of buttons ,two large cents, a dinkie,"ET" fun zone token and having a grand time of it.

As fur dis bouy wid da handy capped machine a dog tag, button with a shank,66 coins and a silver ring.

Now the dilemma! I have 4 Freedom 3 Plus machines with none of them working properly with three usable but with no joy swinging them. Of course the right shoulder and arm required "liquid" medication when I gut hume ! Marie has given me the okay to spend a grand (my money by the way) for my birthday which falls on the 28th to buy a new machine. Being a loyal Garrett user I'm torn and need your input and that will dictate which machine I buy from the responses on the various forums.

Here are the choices.........AT PRo European model or the Technetics Omega ? Whatever the greatest number is what I'll buy! On the back burner is once again sending the Freedom 3 Pluses to East Texas to be fixed! Selling my Fisher 1280 water machine (used a total of 4 times ...once by me) also to defer the cost.

Have a great day and appreciate your comments!

If your going to drop a Grand I would go with a third choice.

The Tek T2

And since you tend to get a little wet from time to time then I would add this to my order with the buy one get get one offer. Just another $196.95 U.S.$

Happy hunting my friend no matter what you choose. By the way those are my next 2 machines, when I get permission.

G'Day Sarkany as you know I'm a one eyed minelab supporter and I have love the brand ever since they brought out the early 1600,there reliability has been very good over the years and I think you can't go wrong with them,I did own a Whites also an ETI detector many years ago until I brought my first Minelab 1600 since then I have never looked back.
You will find them at the same address above just go into all detectors on the left side of the page, there you will find the E Trac for $1498.95 the Explorer for $1298.95 and the Safari for $998.95 with these there are over $300 worth of free accessories for all detectors.
It's a big world out there full of hi tec detectors so good luck mate on your endeavor

Sarkany I used a guy called The Gold Digger http://www.golddiggermetaldetectors.com/ . I started with Kellyco who recommended the Ace250 for my price range and 0 experience! Luckly my wife/girlfriend 11 years surprised me on my birthday (Dec19th) by taking me to the Gold Digger to look and try different models, She lied to me and said we were going to a computer place, even took the tower of our computer with us. LOL (Shes good!) I paid no attention walking in, just a little annoyed I was carrying this computer tower. The next thing I know I'm looking at wall to wall metal detectors, and some coin displays. Then it hit me, you sly little woman you! I've been wanting one for a few years now. So I was super excited! I explained the limited money and no experience he choose the Ace350 for me to look at and walk me through. The next 2hrs flew bye. Hes very good at what he does. I wasn't able to buy one then being he doesn't accept AMX. But just last month I went back and picked it up. The price was a little more but he had no problem honoring the deal made earlier. And I was able to get the Pro Pointer while staying within budget. I'm trying to find the receipt with his name on it. I want to say his name is Ralph for some reason? Hes the owner and operator and Hunting Fanatic. He started out hunting loved it so much he opened his own shop. I know he's been doing this a long time. He sticks by his Explorer, as Nuggethill recommended. Hope this helps some or at least you enjoyed my experience as I've yours.
I didn't know at the time that BigFredd sold them but I've seen great feedback for him. Either way good luck!!
