Just wanting to know if someone can tell me if this is normal or not. I was able to find one other besides this one that has the same marking. Sorry for the pic but I suck at resizing and was getting mad so just tried to make it simple and easy.

I'm guessing you probably see the same thing on the date and other devices facing the rim on your coin. I can't tell for sure, but I think it is die wear. BIE's on wheat cents are from the die chipping away probably from a clash contact with the reverse die.

After the die starts chipping it continues untill the size gets as tall as the other devices. Then it stops spreading or the dies are replaced.
