Just got this last night, was wondering if I got a decent deal, got it for $20. Not looking to sell or keeping for investment purposes but was just curios. I appreciate teh feedback!

I did just find a price guide online that says a VG 1230 goes for $35, so if that IS correct then I did not do too bad. I took a chance as I came across this and had no time to research, so I put in a low bid and got it. I know, a big non-no and I normally research prices, ect before ever buying but you know sometimes you take a gamble.

Writing is small and does not bother me, it's a historical item as much as some would hate to think of notes and coins as and that is part of it's history. Do I wish it were not there...sure. When I can buy a better grade I will get one. Still, I thought it wasn't too bad a note.
