I've had this one since I was a kid, just wondering what it might grade.

I have no familiarity with this series but wanted to throw out my observations and see what sticks. From what little I've read, I think it's uncommon for the reverse to be better than the obverse in this series. That's pretty cool. Clear wear on the eagles breast and tail. Wear on the reverse too but the elements of the wreath have not yet blended together. I'll say VF25-30.

I'd have to say F12. I'm certainly no expert either, but the tail feathers are just about worn slick. Also I'd have to say that it's really difficult to grade because the eagles body and wing feathers are relatively intact and the reverse is stronger than F.
Rest in Peace

Looks around VF-20 details, maybe a little less but I'm comparing it to a PCGS one I had awhile ago.

Sometimes the tail feathers aren't struck up completely. The wing and breast details look VF20 to me.

It's hard to say with the tail being so weak, although the ANA Grading Standards say that the eagle's tail is sometimes weakly struck. With that in mind, I would grade it at just barely making VF-20. Nice coin, though!
