I have a 2003 Silver Eagle in an NGC slab with a red label. I vaguely recall reading somewhere that the "red label" was significant.

Does the red label mean anything special, or is it the same as any other NGC slab?

There really isn't nothing special about it being red. NGC used red labels to designate "First Strikes" until around 2006

The red labels are the blends and the black labels are the bonded. Oh, wait a minute...
