hi everyone newbie here :D names jimmy from the uk :)

i found this coin today whilet metaldetecting! its been ID as a fake silver Denarius Dated AD66 which I'm over the moon with it :)

can any one help me more info of this coin please

The only example of a denarius with this reverse I can find does not have the same obverse legend and is listed in RIC vol 1 #47. It could be an unlisted type. I see what looks like some dark areas on the obverse which could be bronze under the silver. This might be a fouree.

thanks half of people said its fake 20th century but the other half are saying its a fake from the romans

i found this site of fake roman coins and none of them look like mine

A "fouree", which is what this coin appears to be, is a type of circulating counterfeit ancient coin, made back in ancient times. It was made by wrapping a layer of silver around a blank copper or brass slug, then striking the "sandwich" with hand-made fake dies - or perhaps with genuine coin dies that have been "borrowed" from the mint workshop. The odd "cracks" around the reverse certainly look like a layer of foil that's peeling away.

Fourees are antique artefacts in their own right and certainly collectable, though I have no idea what they sell for these days.

thanks for the info Sap. the way you have said about a real Fourree is made looks just like mine. as my coin has Real silver as I have done a silver test on it :)
