Excellent Job! And the cover none the less!! Looks like I'll be renewing that subscription today. It must feel wonderful that your hard work, love, and dedication has been recognized by such a publication! I mean... Think about it, they chose you to be the attention getter. The main event. Thats a BIG deal! Congratz!! Well Done.

Ah, geez...thanks. I remember being just as jazzed some years ago when I first saw my name on the byline in Coin World.

Coinstar, yes I wasn't sure what type of detail I was going to get into about the stamps. As it turned out, I only needed some very general information.

I know what you mean, I remember how excited I was when the VAM-85 made the cover and they just listed my name on it and I didn't even write the article so I could imagine how exciting it is to write an article that actually made the cover. I was so excited I bought a subscription and even purchased extra copies if the one with the cover story of the VAM-85. It was mentioned in the magazine for the next two months after the cover story and I did the same thing with them to keep with the coin in the SDB and to give to family members who was also excited to see my name on a magazine cover

Since I received multiple requests for information on where to find my other articles, here's the list:

February 7-21, 2005 (Coin World; 3 part series with Mike Norse; February 28, 2005 additional information printed in Letters to the Editor) - Early Proof coins

Jun 27, 2005 (Coin World; guest editorial) - Breen wrong on 2¢ Small Mintage

July 2005 (Coin Values) - Early "classic" Proof coins scarce but surprisingly affordable today

October 13, 2008 ( Coin World) - Few collect copper-nickel 3¢ coins (and that's a shame)

August 9, 2010 (Coin World; world section) - Foreign coins once reigned in United States

June 6, 2011 (Coin World; cover) - The Power of 3s
