Hello, I was wondering if here you can give me any help on estimating the value of a paper I have.

It is not actually money, but it is somehow like a bill. It is a 1000 chilean pesos bill used to support Salvador Allende (the 1st comunists to reach the power democraticaly on history who was overthrown by Pinochet on 1973 with help of USA fearing a USSR base camp on Chile during the cold war)

This is a referential picture. Mine is Mint, completely flawless. It was found like 20 years ago inside a used book and it as been there since today. It has not even been exposed to sunlight, and only a few hands have touched it.

As I said before, I dont have any information at all. I'm 100% sure its real. I estimate that 1000 chilean pesos were at least 50 usd on 195X when this bill was printed.

It dont have print year, but has a serial number on it. I'm pretty sure it's from 195X cause Chile's currency were "escudos" between 1959-1975 and Allende was candidate on 52, 58, 64 and 70, and since it is in "pesos", must be from 52 or 58 campaigns.

Hope anyone can help me with this.

Thanks :)

thanks for the answer, but this is not actual money paper, so it's not included in that list. This was not actual currency, they were documents emited by Allende's presidential campaign to be sold for the value shown as donations for the presidential campaign.

That's why I'm asking if it has any valor at all for a numismatic.
