Okay, I'm massuming everybody that read this post agrees with me on the grade, so VF-25 it is.

I agree with you on this one. '79-O's usually have a strong strike, so less tolerance for strike quality here.

I agree with your grade. Some dealers though may grade this coin a little higher. I believe we are more conservative, which is a good thing.

I would go with VF-30 because it is a strong strike for the Orleans minted Morgans. It has good detail. Was this scanned or camera?

Raider - it's a scan - don't have a camera for close up work, so I've been practicing with my scanner. I'm getting a little better with it.

Same here. All I have is a scanner. I get a good showing of the detail but never any of the luster or eye appeal of a coin. I thought it might be a scan so I went just a bit higher on the grade.
