Hi,

In the interest of saving some time I am just posting the two D mint marks from these two 1964D Washington quarters.

If I obtain some feedback indicating that it appears that something is going on with one or both of these Ds, I will scan and upload the entire obverse and reverse photos of both coins.

Thanks for the feedback

Are you saying you think you have a DDR or an RPM? I am no pro but I do not see an RPM.

It is impossible to have a doubled die affecting the mintmark on any coin prior to 1990 since the mintmarks were hand punched and not hubbed.

What other types of coins does this statement apply to besides US Washington quarters?
